Employment Opportunities

As vacancies occur, they will be posted on this site. Postings will provide information regarding qualifications, closing dates, start date of a position, duties and status of a position (full-time, contract, relief). Letters of application must be accompanied by an up-to-date résume. Only applicants selected for an interview will receive confirmation from the Agency.

As part of the application process, employees will be required to provide proof of qualifications (transcript and degree/diploma), Vulnerable Position Screening from the applicant's local Police Department, a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured; and current First Aid & CPR certificates.

6-Rivers Wilderness Adventures is a learning/teaching organization. Staff development throughout the organization contributes to an environment where change and growth are possible for both staff and clients. While learning opportunities will be promoted by the organization, it is the employee's responsibility to be goal focused and to approach learning with openness. All employees are expected to demonstrate personal investment in their ongoing training. At Craigwood, staff development is viewed as an integral aspect of our work.

Volunteers

Volunteers from the community provide a valuable contribution to 6-Rivers Wilderness Adventures, the youth and the families served by the organization. Volunteers working with professionals enable 6-Rivers to extend and enhance existing services.

How much time will be involved?
There is no minimum time requirement. We will be pleased to receive whatever you have to offer. All of our residential facilities operate 24 hours a day, seven days per week. If days, evenings or weekends work better for you, we can always find you an opportunity.

How can I help?
There are many ways that volunteers contribute to our organization. We offer programs and services to youth between the ages of 12 and 16 and their families. Services provided by volunteers range from crafts, spending time speaking with youth, playing cards or board games, just to name a few ways.

What is in it for me?
As a 6-Rivers volunteer, you will providing support to the youth in our care and contributing to the well-being of our communities. You will meet many new people and we hope that as you share your gifts with us, we might also be able to share ours with you.

Volunteers offer a valuable contribution to the youth and families served by our organization. Your services will promote community participation and enhance the lives of our clients.
